My career began at the early age of nine when I discovered a love for the arts and dance became my passion. I sought professional guidance and training throughout my formative years into college when I became the Ministry Leader of the Judah Praise Dance Team for Starlight St James M.B. Church. In this role I’ve provided all needed direction from Planning (budgeting, fund raising, recruiting participants and developing leaders, community outreach and marketing) to Preparation ( creating choreography, designing performances, music preparation, conducting dance classes and rehearsals ) to Performance ( Musicals, Plays and Recitals) these and other outreach events to aid our at risk youth.
I find that the same passion that drives me to help others in my community through dance also fuels my desire to succeed in my professional career. Through hard work and tenacity, I’ve achieved personal milestones in the areas of Recruiting, Training, Payroll, Human Resources and Employee Advocacy, I’ve developed outreach programs that’ve created substantial employment opportunities within my community and have designed new training processes to maximize employee retention and productivity.
